4th Grade Puberty talk will be Friday, May 24th, 2019
The 4th students will be introduced to the topic of Puberty via a short video followed by a question & answer period.
The "Puberty Talk" is usually done at the end of the school year. The boys and girls have separate videos and do not watch the opposite sex's video. The video's cover the physcial, social & emotional changes that your student is going through or will be going through soon. Parents are invited to attend an informational night hosted by the Districts Elementary Nurses where both of the videos will be shown. Flyers will go home 2-3 weeks before the presentation. There will be a question and answer period following the videos. I really enjoy teaching this subject to the girls, they have alot of great questions, and some silly ones, but it helps to open the door for parents to talk to their kids. You may opt out of having your child attend the "Puberty Talk" by indicating so on the above mentioned flyer.
They will be watching " Meet the New You" for girls/ boys, for grades 3-5
